B100 Swing Door Operator Warranty

WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS

Detex warrants that all products sold will be free from defect in workmanship and materials during the warranty period. The Warranty period shall extend for three years from the date of sale (to the distributor). Within this warranty period, Detex, at its sole option, will repair or replace the goods in question at no charge subject to provisions for missing parts as described below.

MISSING PARTS

When Detex repairs a B100S unit, it will look and function like brand-new. If small parts are missing upon warranty return, those parts will be charged a nominal fee for replacement. Call Detex for a current parts price list. Prices are subject to change without notification. If the charge per unit exceeds $10, Detex will obtain written approval of the charge via facsimile (fax) or email.

LIMITATIONS

This warranty is void if a defect is caused by error negligence or inappropriate use by the customer or third party, including but not limited to:

  1. Damage caused by improper electrical connections
  2. Damage caused by defects in other manufacturers equipment
  3. Damage caused by water, fire, lightening, vandalism or acts of God

The warranty is also void on any unit that has been tampered with, modified or otherwise taken apart by non-Detex personnel.

RETURNS

Returned product will result in Detex issuing a credit memo only. No cash refunds.

PROCEDURE

Units returned to Detex should be properly packaged and shipped prepaid to the address found on the back of this manual. A packaging list should be included with each shipment and contain the following information:

  1. Customer Name
  2. Complete Address (where each replacement should be shipped)
  3. Customer References (PO #, Job Name, etc.)
  4. Date of Shipment
  5. RMA Number
  6. List of Units Returned
  7. Description of Problem

Model 2000 Swing Door Operater Warranty

GENERAL

Detex  warrants that all products sold will be free from defect in workmanship and materials during the Warranty Period. The Warranty Period shall extend for three (3) years from the date of sale to the distributor on all mechanical parts and one-year warranty on all electronic components.

Within this Warranty Period, Detex at its sole option, will repair or replace the goods in question at no charge subject to provisions for missing parts as described below.

PROCEDURE

Units returned to Detex should be properly packaged and shipped freight prepaid to:

Detex reserves the right to refuse packages damaged due to improper packing. A packing list should be included with each package and contain the following information:

  • Customer Name
  • Address (where repair/replacement should be shipped
  • Customer reference such as P.O. Number, job name, etc.
  • Date of shipment
  • RMA Number
  • List of units returned
  • Description of problem

If you purchased Detex product from your automatic door dealer, please make all warranty claims with that dealer. This warranty is only valid for the original purchaser.

If the charge per unit exceeds $10, we will obtain your approval of the charge by fax.
